The Egyptian cotton bundle from Empress Mills is certainly a bundle of joy. It is packed with factory cuts which are a really decent size. I have found it useful for so many things. I have lined pouches and bags, used as backs for cushions, printed onto it using indian block stamps or rubber stamps, gelli plate printing, fine embroidery, free motion embroidery, the list goes on, and that's just what I personally have done.

A fabulous 440 count Egyptian Cotton fabric. An absolute favourite at the national shows and with anyone in the know - this fabric has crossed all practical and creative boundaries. Its uses having ranged from embroidery backing, quilt piecing and quilt backing through to bedding, pillowcases and clothing.
We struggle to adequately describe the simple luxurious perfection of this mercerised fabric that has the texture of pure silk and the durability of a long staple tightly woven cotton.
