Sequoia is without doubt a beautiful bag, but is almost like the Tardis. Created to fold flat, it opens up into a roomy bag, to carry all manner of useful things. It could be used for sewing, make up, as an evening bag, a bag for a wedding etc, there are endless possibilities. 
 
In the design, there are modern hexis and the pattern even gives you a grid to follow to position them. It has a front pocket, upon which you could embroider instead of adding the hexis.  The sample is made with black linen and is approximately 10" high, without straps and 6" wide.
