I have made Nellie in a beautiful linen fabric, so needs no stabiliser or wadding. If you use thinner fabric maybe a thin wadding will help.
 
It's a really simple easy make, with the pattern really lending itself to embroidery or further embellishment, maybe even a little sashiko work etc.
 
A full pattern is included, so just print and cut out.
