Libby is a lovely easy project with which you can have lots of fun. She is a cute bookmark, made here from faux leather, but you could use felt, wool, cotton, anything in fact. There is as little or as much stitching as you want to do, some use of glue and hand sewing too if you like that. 
 
Embellish this as much as you please. Not only useful, but pretty and fun, Libby would sell well at a craft fair and is a lovely gift, especially if you add a book!
