This utterly stunning box, or indeed, wall hanging was inspired by my Mum. It is filled with English paper piecing. You could do applique if EPP is not your thing.  It's made from firm card too so book binding glue is an essential.
 
This will be your heirloom piece, whether you use Christmas/holiday fabrics or fabrics suitable for a wedding gift, it matters not. Such a beautiful piece to treasure.
