Here is Ruby, best made in 4s to get the jewel effect.
 
A very simple patchwork block of 5",  finishing at 4.5" perfect for a coaster. It has a simple envelope back so there are no turning gaps, which helps with the neatness. I do suggest the back pieces are polycotton as double layers are used.
