Amelia has been such a firm favourite with my online sewing group. It has a touch of patchwork to make it interesting and two hanging internal patch pockets and makes it an ideal summer bag.
 
Add a snap fastener if you prefer more security, but it is reminiscent of a 1950s beach bag, so the pattern does not include a fastener.
