Clio, meaning "celebration", is a very simple but gorgeous drinks coaster set. The larger coaster is sized to take a coffee/tea pot, a carafe or wine bottle,  and made using patchwork with a little optional quilting. The soft curves of the circle are neatened with bias binding for a perfect finish.
 
The smaller coaster is made specifically so that the base of the wine glass fits into it. The technique is easy but very effective.
